If you are staying in Uvita or Dominical, we highly recommend you take the short one-hour drive to Quepos to find some of the best sport fishing trips in Costa Rica.

There, you will find a large selection of specialized and well-equipped fishing yachts for inshore or offshore fishing trips.

The waters are incredibly rich all year round, and with the crew we work with, you are guaranteed to have an amazing time and some great catches!

Our captains have between 15 and 35 years of sport fishing experience right here in Quepos. They have extensive knowledge of the area, and their boats are professionally equipped to offer you the best fishing experience in Quepos. Rocket launchers, outriggers, fishing chairs, fish finders, live well, and tuna tubes are available, and they use only the best lines, hooks, and terminal tackles.

Now, what can you expect to catch in these waters?

INSHORE fishing charters consist of Rooster Fish, Snook, Mackerel, Red Snapper, and Jack Crevalle. They are also a good opportunity to see the pristine coastline north and south of Quepos along with several rock formations and small islands.

On OFFSHORE fishing charters, we usually go after Sailfish, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Yellow Fin Tuna, Dorado / Mahi Mahi, Amber Jacks, Snapper, Broomtail Grouper, and Wahoo. We fish between 15 and 45 miles offshore depending on the bite!

Whale and dolphin encounters are also possible on any of these fishing trips!
