Uvita Waterfall
Considered one of the main attractions of Uvita, this waterfall is very picturesque and in an ideal location close to the town center.
Whether you are visiting Uvita during the wet season or even the dry season, this will always make for a nice photoshoot opportunity. There’s also another big swimming hole where you can swim and jump all year round. Right in the middle of the rainforest but still close to everything, this is a must-do in Uvita if you don’t plan on visiting other bigger waterfalls in the area.

Take the road that leaves from El Gollo and the BCR (Banco de Costa Rica). Keep going straight until the paved road becomes a dirt road. Just after that, turn left and keep going up. In total from the main highway or the BCR, it’s about 1 mile away. The parking lot is located before the ticket office on your right.
Like in any other unsupervised area in Costa Rica, remember not to leave any valuables in your car.
