Playa Dominicalito

Explore Dominicalito Beach

This is an authentic Costa Rican beach from the central Pacific Coast. It’s also a good representation of Costa Rica's famous saying: Pura Vida (Pure Life).

Here, you will meet surfers at high tide and families at low tide. There are also local fishermen on one side of the beach and local food stalls by the main entrance. Enjoy a “pipa” (fresh coconut juice) on a swing facing the sunset. Relax and admire the view. There are also beautiful rock formations and small islands on each side making this the perfect romantic and picturesque setting for your vacation.

Enjoy a stroll, head south, cross the river, meet the fishermen, and see a couple of pelicans. If you head north, you’ll discover the natural pools left by the sea at low tide. By going a little further, you will be able to explore the beautiful coconut grove. Either direction you choose will make for the perfect photoshoot opportunity, and you will truly enjoy this authentic atmosphere.
