Nauyaca Waterfalls

Have you ever dreamed of discovering huge waterfalls nestled in the heart of the jungle flowing down to a natural pool where you could dive in? Well then, you’ve just discovered Nauyaca Waterfalls. Undoubtedly some of the biggest and the most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica, the main one is a spectacular 150 feet high while the second waterfall is a stunning 65 feet.
Don’t forget your bathing suit as you can take a dip in the natural pool and dive from the boulders surrounding the falls.
To get there, several options are available to you. You could simply hike (preferably from the car park area located downhill: expect around 1-1.5 hours’ walk one way, on a well-maintained path), or you could take a shuttle (a pickup 4×4) to the top of the waterfalls.
Prices are as follows:
US$10 per person for the hike (no guiding possible).
US$32 per person for the shuttle. Departure every hour from 7am to 1pm (from 8am on Sundays).
*NEW* Semiprivate afternoon tour also possible during the dry season from 3pm to 5pm (maximum 15 people)
