Have you ever dreamt of discovering huge waterfalls nestled in the heart of the jungle flowing down to a natural pool where you could dive in? Well then, you’ve just found Nauyaca Waterfalls. Undoubtedly some of the biggest and the most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica. The main one is about 150 feet high when the secondary is 65 feet.
Don’t forget your bathing suit as you can take a dip in the natural pool and dive from the boulders surrounding the falls.
To get there, several options are available to you. You could simply hike (preferably from the car park area located downhill: count around 1-1.5 hours walk one way, on a well-maintained path), or you could enjoy a horseback riding tour (detailed below) or take a premium ride on a 4×4 to the top of the waterfalls.
US$10 per person for the hike (no guiding possible).
US$80 per person for the other tour options with a bilingual guide and lunch included.
This tour is also a great opportunity to spot some wildlife!
